Helping Classroom Ltd. and Bentley Associates
get teachers into class.
Bentley Associates provide solutions for all permanent
and temporary educational staffing needs.
Rapid expansion of these two businesses, which share
support systems, was causing severe delays in processing
applications. Most documents were kept in filing cabinets
and could only be accessed by one employee at a time.

Wines
Document Management for Direct Wines

This invoice handling had previously been done via a
completely manual system which was difficult to control
and which was making payments slow. Direct Wines
workflow and DM needed streamlining
Prior to the deployment of Infonic’s document
management solution, all invoices and related documents
were being manually authorised and entered into Direct
Wines’ Great Plains ledger for payment. These
paper documents were then archived into large filing
cabinets. |

NPIA
Centralized DM and workflow solution
for the NPIA.
The NPIA, National Policing Improvement Agency, supports
many initiatives to improve policing including initiatives
to improve knowledege sharing nationally and internationally,
leadership development, intelligence management, combating
serious crime and terrorism. The NPIA has around 1,500
staff including 300 seconded police officers from UK
forces.
The NPIA has implemented document management within
its Finance Department and within the Serious Crime
Analysis Section. It is also being piloted for use
in Procurement and the NPIA is poised to roll Infonic
Document Management out across other areas of the
organization.

Streamlining Document Management at
Optimax.
Founded in 1991 to provide the highest possible quality
of treatment to everyone. Optimax’s specialist
eye surgeons have performed over 220,000 procedures
to date-double the number of treatments compared to
any other UK provider.
Too much paper
Prior to deploying the document management system,
Optimax’s entire UK operation relied on a paper-based
system to handle its patient documentation, including
all patient consent forms, marketing feedback forms
based on questionnaires completed by patients, and
building documentation.

Document Management, powering a paperless
college.
The college is part of the New Technology Initiative,
supported by the Higher Education Funding Council for
England, focusing on vocational training for adults
and younger students.
A growing mountain of paper

within the Texas Department of Public Safety, including
fingerprint processing and archiving crime records,
vehicle inspection records, driver licensing and the
state’s driver information bureau and concealed

State Police
Infonic gets Document Management under
control for the Virginia State Police.
The Virginia State Polices processes a tremendous amount
of queries, in excess of 375,000 a year. Each of these
requires careful and detailed access of files and dissemination
of accurate information to the requesting party. School
districts, relying on this information to make hiring
decisions, make over 100,000 requests a year.
Infonic’s powerful document management modules
have provided crucial information capture and access
throughout the Virginia State Police organization.
Data is captured securely and at a level of quality
